Creating a marketplace for your Biomass

What is the Minneapolis Biomass Exchange?

We are North America's leading biomass exchange, serving wood and agricultural residue producers, balers, transporters and buyers.

Many biomass feedstocks can be sold through MBioEX including: corn cobs/stover, dedicated energy crops (e.g. cottonwood plantations, miscanthus, etc.), hays/alfalfa, wheat straw, and wood chips/residues.

Biomass markets include: animal bedding, livestock feed, renewable energy, and biopharma markets. Regional conditions will dictate the best value.

The MBioEX mission is three-fold:

* Provide a better market opportunity for buyers and sellers.
* Increase efficiencies by linking biomass supply chain harvesters and transporters to buyers and sellers.
* Increase knowledge and reduce party risk through leading-edge technology.
